Feild Trip #4 Corkscrew Swamp

The Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary was one of the field trips I enjoyed the most and at the same time, I learned the most. The Blair center was the first place we entered before going onto the boardwalk and it was certainly filled with information. On the walls were maps of Florida over time and showed the changes that the state has made and how the topography has been affected. We soon went out any walked along the boardwalk, stopping along the way to see the displays that taught us something about the history and the animals in the area. I was a little disappointed that we did not physically see many animals other than a bird here and there but the forestry was very appealing. Because the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is part of the Audubon, it was a much more established tourist site compared to other places we have visited. I really enjoyed our trip there and I would consider coming back in the near future.
